HELLO! I am so glad you are here!

I am a wife, mom, teacher and true lover of photography. I am so grateful you are here to see what I am all about. Choosing a photographer is an important feat and I am so happy you are considering me to document your families precious memories.  

All my life, I have been photo obsessed. I always was and am the friend, sister, mom and teacher taking the pictures and asking for more. After having kids, my love of photos grew even more so I purchased a professional camera to capture lifes precious moments in a more sophisticated way. I still was always on the hunt for a great photographer to take my families photos. After years of amazing photos by other people, I decided it was my turn to take my own.

In 2023, MJPhotography was born. I am a teacher by day and photographer by nights and weekends. My family and I live in Lake Orion, MI. My husband, Jamie and I have two beautiful children, Landon (15) and Kendall (13) that keep us busy with sports, especially travel soccer. Yet, another thing I love to capture with my camera.

I want to provdie amazing photos for your family that you can look back on for countless memories. I want you to be comfortable, be yourself and enjoy the moment with your family.
